MeteoWeather does not itself add advertising or behavioural analytics trackers, and does not offer visitor accounts or a newsletter. Interactive maps are supplied by external services and make external connections when displayed. Using this website therefore involves some processing of personal data.
Who is responsible?
Internet Ideas, Zwolle, is responsible for personal data processed through MeteoWeather. Contact info@olphy.com with a privacy question or request. Operator and contact details are available on the Contact page.
Visits, searches and security
Our hosting and security providers process connection details such as an IP address, requested page, time and browser information to deliver and protect the service. Searches are handled to find the place requested. We rely on our legitimate interest in operating a reliable, secure website for necessary delivery and security processing. Logs are retained only as long as needed to diagnose problems, investigate abuse and meet applicable legal obligations; no fixed retention period is claimed without the actual hosting arrangement.
Optional location use
Your location is requested only when you choose the location function and grant browser permission. Coordinates are sent to our server to find a nearby listed place. We do not create a personal location history or a visitor profile. You can search manually instead and revoke location permission in your browser settings.
Weather requests and direct map connections
Our server retrieves local forecasts and any locally cached weather images. The website uses system fonts and its own optimised photograph. Interactive radar and satellite views normally use I’m Weather / Infoplaza. Other map layers use Ventusky, which can load immediately on a topic page or after you change the selected map. A supported fallback can also change the provider. There is no separate activation gate before the selected map loads. The browser connects directly to that provider, transmitting the IP address, browser information and map request; the provider may also contact infrastructure or map-tile suppliers.
Provider analytics, storage and choices
External providers have their own privacy and storage practices. I’m Weather may load analytics components, including Cloudflare Web Analytics, and receive the referring page address. We do not promise that every embedded service is free of cookies, analytics or other external processing. Merely visiting this website is not consent. Any nonessential processing must have the required legal basis and, where applicable, a valid consent mechanism. Operator configuration and provider changes must be reviewed against the actual processing, not assumed compliant from this notice.
Email and retention
When you contact info@olphy.com, we use your address and message to answer and resolve the matter, based on our legitimate interest in providing support. Correspondence is kept for the time needed to handle the request and any related legal obligations. Please avoid sending personal or sensitive information that is unnecessary for the question.
Recipients, transfers and your rights
Hosting, security and email providers may process information to provide their services. Embedded providers and their suppliers may process information outside the European Economic Area under the arrangements described in their policies. Contact us for the actual services and applicable transfer safeguards. We do not sell personal data. Depending on the applicable law, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to legitimate-interest processing, and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Changes and supplementary information
This notice describes the core service. Additional services enabled by the operator must be described in supplementary information, with their purposes, providers, transfers and retention. Material changes require an updated notice and, where necessary, a fresh choice. Rights and additional obligations can differ by jurisdiction.
