Accessibility
Weather information should be usable by everyone. Our development target is WCAG 2.2 level AA. A complete independent accessibility audit has not been carried out, so this statement is not a certification or a claim of full conformity.
Design approach
We aim for clear headings, labelled controls, readable typography, strong contrast, visible keyboard focus and layouts that work on smaller screens. Core forecasts are presented in text and tables. Our own interface supports reduced-motion preferences. Accessibility needs ongoing testing with keyboards, screen readers, zoom and different devices.
Known limitations
Interactive maps are supplied by third parties. Their internal controls may have limitations for keyboard use, screen readers, motion preferences or language selection, and we cannot directly change those controls. Text forecasts provide another way to read forecast information, but they are not an equivalent spatial description of observed radar images. External maps and linked official notices may use the browser language or another language.
Report a barrier or request another format
Email info@olphy.com with the page address, the task you were trying to complete and, if helpful, your browser or assistive technology. Tell us what format would help. We will review the report and look for a practical way to provide the information. This statement will be updated as testing identifies or resolves issues.
